Kangaroo Zoo- Part Two

Then it was off to do Black Light Mini Golf. It was actually very cool. If there hadn't been so many distractions, we may have had a 'real' game of mini golf.

We decided to try it out being treehuggers.

Fun with Uncle Chris- he made it even more fun!

The kids enjoyed chasing the ball around and when all else failed, they'd help it into the hole with a hand or a foot. :)

Then the goofiness began...if one can so imagine...where is our mother when we need her to keep control of the boys?

"I think I've almost got it..."
We all had a great time. When we were done at Kangaroo Zoo we went to Chris & Mike's for pizza and a good visit. What a fun evening!

Kangaroo Zoo- Part One

Linz and I had made plans to take the kids to Kangaroo Zoo before summer started. It's right by Chris and Mikes house in North Salt Lake so it made the trip all the more worthwhile. Then factor in that I found a screaming deal on 1/2 price admission tickets for there..and my family and Linz's were off to the zoo.

It just so happened on our way that we would run into a wreck mess and then some construction. What should have been an hour ride ended up being close to 2 1/2 hours. The kids behaved rather well for the long delay.

One must be careful what they say to an adult about going to the zoo though. My brother-in-law Mark was quite disappointed when he was told that there were no 'kangaroos'. He thought we were going to a real kangaroo zoo. It was hilarious!! So of course we had to make fun of it all night.

Shaun was a little embarrassed to be seen at the Kangaroo Zoo. (Just kidding.)

You might take notice of the beautiful flowers on the back of his hat. He took the girls' hair clips for them and modeled them throughout our stay. He got several compliments from others.

Down they go

Kami didn't care so much for the specified 'little kids' jumps/slides.

The girls jumping in their jail cell.

I'm an awful mom and somehow missed getting picture of Taylor & Hollie. I blame it on the fact that they were so fast running around from slide to slide. They had a blast though!!!

Treehouse Museum

All the girls loaded up in the Bess' Van and off we went to the Treehouse Museum with the moms in tow.

Hollie, Kambri & Haddie had a good time and it provided a few hours of summer afternoon fun! (And it was FREE day, which makes it perfect for moms!)

Such cute little firewomen! It must run in their genes. :)
...The girls raced off to put out a fire...

...stopped to make sure that all was well within the city...

...feed the baby...

...weigh the baby...
Of course the girls loved the babies. This center held their attention for a few minutes anyways.

...check the babies cells under the microscope to make sure baby could pass with a clean bill of health...

...and then exam baby and make sure she is completely healthy!!

Then we went off into our teepee where we warmed ourselves by the fire.

...Then it was time to water our garden and pull the weeds...

...Can't forget the milk that we will need for drinking later...

...now we must play for one more minute...

We sure had a busy day!!
